Caroline and Gavin’s wedding at Congress Hall in Cape May, New Jersey, was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and coastal charm. From their save the dates to the day-of details, every piece of stationery helped set the tone for their sophisticated celebration by the sea. Designing their wedding stationery was a joy! Each piece captured their unique style while creating a cohesive look that carried throughout the event.

Caroline and Gavin had a clear vision from the start: formal and classic with a touch of coastal flair. This was perfectly fitting for a Cape May wedding! For their save the dates, we began with a palette of soft greens and neutrals, introducing their custom watercolor monogram featuring delicate florals. This monogram became a signature element, reappearing on the front of the reception bar and tying together various details seamlessly.
When it came time to design their invitation suite, we focused heavily on blues and golds to bring an elevated and coastal-inspired feel. The suite included a letterpress invitation with luxurious gold foil around the edges. The reception card featured a stunning watercolor illustration of Congress Hall. Finally, we also chose to include a custom watercolor map that welcomed guests to Cape May. Each of these custom elements highlighted the charm of the area and prepared guests for an unforgettable day.

Caroline and Gavin’s wedding paper wasn’t just a beautiful addition to their day; it also served as a thoughtful way to brand their celebration. We intentionally designed each piece to reflect their style and enhance the guest experience.
Their ceremony program booklet included a watercolor illustration of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church. It offered a warm welcome to guests as they arrived.

Escort cards and table numbers displayed clean, elegant fonts and were paired with linens that complemented the coastal aesthetic.

Menus at each place setting tied everything together, featuring the same colors and fonts as the invitations and day-of paper.

Caroline and Gavin’s attention to detail extended to unexpected areas, such as the custom bar front adorned with their monogram. This element became a focal point during the reception, adding a touch of elegance to the lively atmosphere.
Throughout the event, all of these stationery details reinforced the seamless blend of formal sophistication and coastal charm. Every guest feel like a special part of Caroline and Gavin’s Cape May wedding.

These thoughtful stationery details helped create a cohesive, elevated guest experience while tying together the couple’s timeless and coastal-inspired wedding theme.
